There is a Shiva temple in the middle of Rajapur Bharia forest in Balrampur district development block , where priests do not dwell at night. Shri Kalpeshwar Nath Temple , also known as Baba Jungleath Temple . The doors of this temple are never locked. It is believed that Bholenath has special blessings on this temple. The temple is guarded by a pair of snake s. According to the temple priests and locals, religious programs are held here during the day. Due to the protection of the temple, the snake-serpent pair come in the evening. Devi Patan Temple is a very famous temple located in Tulsipur , which is about 25 km from the district headquarters of Balrampur .  It is the temple of Ma Pateshwari and goes by the name of Goddess Patan . This temple is one of the famous 51 Shakti Peethas of Ma Durga and is said to symbolize the love of Lord Shiva and Mata Sati . Angered by not seeing her husband Mahadev's place in the yajna of her father Prajapati Daksha , angry Sati gave up her life in anger. Shocked by this incident, Shiva destroyed the Daksha-Yajna and placed Sati's body on his shoulder and began to roam in the three worlds, then there was a disturbance in the world cycle. There is a temple built by the then Maharaja of Balrampur in the 19th century . The temple of Bijleshwari Devi, located just three km from the district headquarters, is the center of faith and faith of the devotees. During the Navratri days, devotees are thronged to see the Goddess. These days, devotees perform other auspicious works from the Mundan ceremony to the temple premises. It is believed about this temple that the Mother Goddess appeared like lightning here. Due to which the name of this place was named Bijlipur and the temple was known as Bijleshwari Devi . It is said that at this place there are still footprints of the Mother Goddess. Since then Baba started offering his worship at the same place.
