Bijlipur Temple, Balrampur, Uttar pradesh

There is a temple built by the then Maharaja of Balrampur in the 19th century. The temple of Bijleshwari Devi, located just three km from the district headquarters, is the center of faith and faith of the devotees. During the Navratri days, devotees are thronged to see the Goddess. These days, devotees perform other auspicious works from the Mundan ceremony to the temple premises. It is believed about this temple that the Mother Goddess appeared like lightning here. Due to which the name of this place was named Bijlipur and the temple was known as Bijleshwari Devi. It is said that at this place there are still footprints of the Mother Goddess. Since then Baba started offering his worship at the same place. When the then Maharaja of Balrampur came to know about this, he too went to see the Mother Goddess.  Being a true worshiper of the Mother Goddess, the Maharaja built a grand temple at that place. It is a sample of supernatural art in terms of craftsmanship. Mother Adi Shakti has a place in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, while temples of other gods and goddesses have been built on the four sides of the temple. It is also told about the establishment of this temple that about one hundred and fifty years ago, where this temple is there, there was a platform of Goddess and a peepal tree. At the same time, devotees used to offer puja, Digvijay Singh, the then King of Balrampur, agreed to build a temple at this Devi place to fulfill his desire.

  3. Nice Brother. Some more important things like this temple is built by only stone.there is no use of cement and bricks.by seeing the Structure of this it is said that this temple is specially made to prave tantra poojan.
